Spiritualism began on March 31, 1848. The events that have taken place during those years are outlined consecutively so the reader can follow its growth and challenges. Any organization, be it secular or religious, must stop and review where it has been and where it is going. The pioneers of Spiritualism were progressive in nature. As we are in the second decade of the 21st century, it has come to the attention of the progressive Spiritualists that its time for a reality check in order to plan the future.
